So. Long time no real journal huh? Only those random tag journals. It seems the last time I made a journal with actual info in it was last summer. Huh. So uh. I kinda got tagged again, and I figured I could at least try to give a real update on myself since I'm gonna make a journal anyway.
… Buuuuut dunno what to tell really. There's not much going on, school's dragging along with the ongoing feeling that I should be busy but I have no idea with what, and uh. I just don't know. I have some drawing ideas, but I've managed to misplace both my motivation to actually finish them and my ambition to improve myself in general. I hope they come back, and I hope they come back soon, since I kinda need them. Pretty badly, at that. But yeah. Nothing's happening. This time of the year is generally the worst for me, since usually everything's decided now - the summer jobs, school applications, graduating from current schools, stuff like that. And I always over stress myself especially regarding the applications to the point I'm unable to do anything. Well, this spring I didn't send any applications, since my current school ends next christmas, but we are supposed to start our final works right about now, and the summer job thing still applies, with the work practice period coming this autumn to which I should be searching for a job. I know where to ask for both, but if I'm declined, I have no idea what to do.
Aaaand I'll shut up before it gets too depressing. Other than that, spring is slowly coming, which is good. It was good to have a normal, cold, snowy winter like a winter should be, but it's great to have variation, that's what the four seasons are for after all. Oh, and I bought some painting equipment and acrylics in hopes to start painting, but I have no idea what to paint. Boo.
Ah, yes. Commissions. I've been thinking about this for a good while now, and I think I might be ready for them. Nothing too big, only points since I have no idea how the money system would work internationally, something like 3-10p depending on the piece, and maybe just sketches, portraits, one character pics, simple backgrounds, why not some short texts too… nothing too fancy, but you know, something to start with. I'll try to put up a real journal about them as soon as I find some motivation to figure these things out better and just write it, but if you're interested feel free to inquire through notes or comment this journal. I'm going make them context-sensitive anyway and discuss each request separately. So yeah, I'll be coming back to the matter, don't be afraid to ask if you got curious.
…….. I'm out of stuff to talk about, so here's the tag that made this journal possible. For those not interested, I bid you ta-ta~
Got tagged by
* You must post these rules.
* Each person must post 10 things about themselves on their journal.
* Answer the questions the tagger set for you, and create (10) new questions for the people you tag to answer.
* You have to choose 10 people to tag and post their icons on your journal.
Yeah you know how it works.
* Go to their pages and tell them you have tagged her/him.
* No tag backs. * No nonesense in the tagging section about "you are tagged if you're reading this."
* You have to tag 10 people.
Wha'chu gonna do 'bout it? 10 things about me:
I should be tidying me room right now instead of doing this.
Nevermind I got it done (barely my room's still a mess lol).
~ I'm making a cosplay for the upcoming Desucon this summer and I fear I'm way over my head with it.
~ I've half-forced myself to like videogames. I think it's half-working.
~ I have no idea what I'm doing with my life at the moment.
~ There was a time I wanted to be a hero.
~ I need to find myself both a summer job and a work practice place.
~ I'm hoping to find my work practice place from abroad, it's on the works. Thumbs up~
~ Motion Capture is pretty fun. Unless you have slippery shoes or wool socks. …Nah it's still fun.
~ I used to pretty much hate horror games and movies, but I've grown to almost like them, through my horror-holic friends and numerous Let's plays on YouTube.
~ I like cookies c:
Das questions from =ScytheDancer
Written or Visual?
Hm, usually I don't really care, but I have to admit that lately I've been more drawn to visual things instead of written stuff.
Do you enjoy living in the country you are living in now?
Yeah, sure, it's fine. Though immense dislike for the fact how the dudes making the decisions are cutting all the awesome study programs :c
Which 3 countries you would like to visit at least once during your life?
Waaa only three? Wellwellwellwell Japan, USA andand CanadaIcelandAustraliaTheWholeWorld. */shotdead*
Do you have story ideas you would like to see published one day?
Eeeeee kinda I suppose, though all the ideas I have are either based on an existing fandom or are way too vague even for myself to figure out |'''D So yeah no hope for that ever happening.
Do you like to work alone (get to decide about everything but need to do everything alone) or in a group (everyone does their part but you would have to get along with them and their opinions)?
Ummmmm, I like the kind of work where someone tells what to do and then I do it? I can make decisions and hold responsibility but I don't exactly like it, and I don't really have troubles working in a group, I'm an easy person to get along with, but I do prefer to work on my own, so… I dunno. Either?
Are you good at saving money?
Yes and no, I can be pretty stingy, but at times it's way too easy to just spend money on stuff.
Do you like to cook?
No, I actually do my absolutely best to stay away from the kitchen and hope someone else will make me food |D An exceptions are made for canned peasoup, noodles and microwave food, as well as cocoa. Baking is actually a bit more enjoyable. …I'm so going to either die of hunger or be broke after the first two days when I move away from home |D
A valuable life lesson you have learnt the hard way or have you been able to think in time and choose wisely to avoid such things?
Hmm, I guess it'd be "learn from your mistakes" and "what doesn't kill you
fucks you up mentally makes you stronger", since you know, I kind of make mistakes somewhat often. Not necessarily what I have learned but what I keep telling to myself to keep the following depression in bay |D
Do you collect something? If yes, what?
Kind of, though all my "collections" are still pretty small. I used to collect rocks and stones when I was young, I might still pick up a pretty stone if I find one. Now I collect lighters from abroad, owls (figures/mini-statues/plushies/clothes/jewelry/stuff), kokeshi/kokeshi-like dolls and Scleich toy horses.
Are you studying the dream job or working in your dream job right now?
I wish I was, but alas, no such luck.
Do you like to customize your stuff? (Like putting some stickers on electric devices such as handhelds or decorate notebook covers?)
Yeah, I do, but I usually end up either having no ideas what to do, having no means to do it or just being too damn lazy to do anything. I did customize my DSi and the case for my DS games c:
And das my questions:
Which pick-up line would you use to charm a cute boy/gal?
Do you play games? What kind of games?
What are your opinions on hunting?
What do you do when the world pisses you off?
If you would be an rpg character, what would your class be? (A mage, and archer, a melee, something else?)
Out of snails, sharkfin soup and oysters, which would you rather eat?
Do you have a blog?
Would you rather see something the monster coming towards you and having no means of escape, or know that it can attack you from behind at any given time but not knowing when? (If that makes sense?)
If you had a chance to reincarnate to any time or place, even past, who/what would you like to be? (A certain person, or just an occupation, gender, an animal, a tree, whatever?)
If you had to change your current career/studying place, what would you go for?
Sooooo if you read it you're not tagged, but if you're bored feel free to fill it.
JiiBee, over and out
