Hmm, yeah. This has been bothering me somewhat since Saturday, and I'd really like another opinion.
So, I found an old cosplay photo of me cosplaying Japan from three-something years ago (unofficial random cosplay, but I digress), and heavily edited it to look more dramatic and stuff, and I really like how it came. The thing is, I'm in the picture holding a toy gun and aiming somewhere, much like a sharpshooter, and when my mom happened to see it when I was giving it finishing touches she all but strictly denied me from putting it up, worried that someone might take it and use it in the context of terrorism or something alike. Sure, I'm legally an adult and I don't really have to do what she says, but her opinions and plain word have always been important to me, and even if I'm not all that worried about things like that as she is, I find it hard to against her stern 'advice', I do agree that the risk is there. My lil' bro saw the picture and didn't seem so much worried as mom, but he also agreed that the risk exists, well, internet is full of shady people and all kinds of sickos and whatnot.
So I find myself heavily conflicted, I really do want to upload that picture in my gallery, but I can't help but feel worried if other people find it as threatening and risky as my mom does. So really, another opinion would really give me some peace of mind.
If you feel the need to see the picture, I'm gonna have to ask you to give me your email, for I'm currently too paranoid to upload it anywhere in the internet without hearing from someone that it's okay and not as bad as my mom fears.
That's that for now, JiiBee over and out~
