This thing's been floating around at the back of my head nagging me to do it so I did it.

Active -- Lazy

Ama is to the active side and doesn't like sitting around doing nothing too much, however she doesn't have the energy anymore to be always on the move and has learned to appreciate the breaks she needs to take in order to make it through the day.

Attractive -- Ugly

She is old - there's no denying that. Bagging skin, creases everywhere, there are many who would consider all that very off-putting. However, Ama is the kind who has aged beautifully, her hair is still flush and soft and the twinkle in her eyes when she smiles is easy to look at, and even underneath all the wrinkles it is easy to tell she was once quite a beauty. (That's how I try and want to portrait her at least :'>)

Brave -- Cowardly

When it comes to speaking her mind, Ama is not afraid to express herself - in the limits of good taste and staying polite, of course. That said, however, some of that has been eaten away from her after she came to the circus, and especially matters concerning Mr Dark Ama often prefers to back away than to fight, for the simple fact that it's not worth it. If the issue is just plain unfair she still stands up and defends the offended, but she generally chooses her battles much more carefully nowadays.

Caring -- Cruel

Considering herself pretty much everyone's grandmother, Ama could never hurt anyone, and she rarely gets truly angry or starts hating anyone. She can do some motherly berating, but that's usually the most, and even if you do manage to anger her you only need to give a sincere apology and somehow show her your trying to fix your ways and she won't stay mad for long, unless it was something ultimately personal. You have to be capable of the most evil kind of wrongdoing to get permanently for Ama's hate-list (*cough* Dark *cough*), as Ama believes anyone can change and be salvaged.

Charismatic -- Awkward

Kind, friendly, well-mannered and overall sweet old lady, Ama handles herself well in a conversation and with other people and is easy to talk to and like. There are some traits like her curiousity and tendency to ask a lot of questions, sometimes even quite personal ones that some may not appreciate too much.

Social -- Antisocial

Very social, Ama much prefers a conversation or just a chit-chat with someone over being alone in the quiet and darkness.

Confident -- Uncertain

Usually very confident of herself even in her mistakes, knows that she can't do everything and isn't afraid to ask for help, this is another trait eaten away after her arrival in circus. While in her youth Ama was quite impulsive and did what she enjoyed and wanted to do, she now takes more time to question the plan before executing it - even in her denial concerning her past, she has not forgotten the one impulsive thing that took everything away from her.

Dominant -- Submissive

Ama has no trouble taking the lead if the situation calls for it, however, she knows that not many would probably willing to follow a frail old woman and that there's usually someone even more capable of leading, and accepts that.

Friendly -- Cold

Friendly towards everyone, doesn't really listen to rumours or other people's words when meeting with someone, instead giving the benefit of the doubt and learning for herself what kind of person they are. Raised to always express good manners Ama plans not to deviate from that.

Humble -- Arrogant

Ama was raised not to think too highly of herself, as that was very off-putting in a young lady, and she aims to express just that. She does know her own abilities and values and prides them, and not always in the healthy kind of loving yourself either.

Honest -- Liar

Lying is wrong - that was Ama was thought. However, there are situations that call for a white lie every now and again, and not all things are meant to be just told. She doesn't enjoy it, and doesn't lie all that often, but it is the lesser of two evil than revealing something that shouldn't be said.

Intelligent -- Stupid

Ama is quite knowledgeable, smart and clever, and it is not easy to deceive her - however, she's quite naive at times, which greatly clouds her judgement.

Leader -- Follower

As said, Ama has no trouble taking the lead, but usually prefers not to, instead letting someone more capable of doing that. She is not, however, the kind to just blindly follow orders - she cooperates if you are reasonable, but I dare you to try and boss her around, go on, try.

Patient -- Impatient

Ama has all the time in the world, and doesn't mind waiting the least.

Strong -- Weak

Ama's physical prowess is practically non-existent, the heaviest thing she's lifting up nowadays is a large cup of tea. Even in her youth Ama never really did any kind of heavy lifting aside from her baby daughters, she never had the need to do any of that herself, and now she can do even less what with the tired and aching muscles.
